First time on the 7.9 in 15-20 knots easy on the plain nice and easy to control with plenty of power. There was a guy on a 11 m sail and i was going faster and easier on the plain. i weight 92 kg

Have used the 5.4m Quad three times now in big chop and waves, lots of power, but doesn't get overpowered. Great value for money

Fantastic sails, I have a 5.4 and a 6.0 and love to sail both. They get going in light winds well and are solid and stable even when well overpowered. They remain intact despite my repeated and very rigorous durability testing (if you know what I mean). I use them with a 94 Exocet Cross and a 109 JP Super Sport and they are Fantastic for both kinds of sailing. Use RDM mast for a slightly lighter more manoeverable feel and SDM if you want stable and locked down power to squeeze out every last bit of speed and fantastic handling in overpowered conditions. A truly great sail. At these prices they are an Absolute Bargain.

Update - I have now bought a 100% carbon 460 mast from NZSailing and the sail seems to be much more stable than before. I also noticed it does need a touch more down haul than I first thought. Now it is rigged correctly and on the correct mast it is a really great sail. Can't beat it for the price.

Still using my 2012 6.6 sqm Quad. This is my short board go to sail for 14-20 knots. Heaps of power, really well built and durable. Great downhaul and outhaul options for different wind and wave conditions. Best sail i have owned for this wind range.

I bought the 7.9m to get blasting in light wind days on a Nano 125ltr. It took a while to get rigged and balanced but then I'm not used to big sails. Biggest thing I think I am struggling with is my mast is a 21 and I think it's got too much flex. They recommend a 25 and I ignored that and figured it would be fine. It's ok, but will try a stiffer mast to see if it helps. Was just a bit loose in the chop and not totally stable. Other than my fault for not having the correct mast, the sail is well made and good value.

Got the 6.6. I like that it rigs on a 430 mast. Felt stable and powerful and handled gusts well. Sail also seems well made. Great blasting RAF sail.

Had the pictured board and 6.6 out in 15 to 20 knot onshore breeze and powered up easily. I am not light 85 kg.Good balance and control. Lots of power. Great purchase.
