We try to keep delivery costs to an absolute minimum whilst offering the best possible delivery service.
Delivery costs will depend on the weight and size of the items you have ordered and your location.
When you checkout you will be shown the standard delivery options available and their associated costs.
Rural Delievery (RD) charges will be added to your total payment where applicable.
New Zealand Delivery
Where possible we offer three delivery options.
We welcome collection from our Factory/Retail shop and Warehouse at 34 C Peters Way, Silverdale, Auckland.
The Retail shop's normal hours are 9-5 weekdays and 9-12 Saturday mornings.
Just place your order on-line and in the comments section let us know what time you want to pick up.
Standard Delivery by Courier network
Average delivery times for 'in stock' items are 1-3 days for this service. Rural Delivery (RD) will be longer, and will incur additional RD charges.
If the wrong freight option is selected in checkout, we will place an additional charge if needed to be the correct charge.
Smaller items will be sent by Courier. Courier items will require a signature on delivery and it is preferable to state a business delivery address where possible as residential addresses are often more difficult to locate resulting in a possible delay. Covid can me that signature will not be taken.
Please note that if our couriers find that there is nobody available to sign for the package, a notification card will be posted at the delivery address and the package returned to the depot. It is your responsibility to then contact the courier company to arrange re-delivery or collection within the indicated timeframe. Failure to do this will result in the package being returned to us and you will be responsible for the return delivery costs. In the comments section of the order can instruct the courier to leave the package without signature.
Larger Items that are too large for the Courier network.
These items will go via the commercial freight service and will take longer. Delivery will be to the closest Depot of the freight company. You will pick up from there. You need to check the goods over completely at the freight company before signing that they have arrived undamaged. If you take the goods away and find damage later, the freight company will not cover the cost of the damage and it will be your loss. We use a more expensive and careful freight service now as the normal commercial system resulted in too many damaged goods but you still need to check the goods.
Rest of the World
Smaller items which can fit into the Postal service will be sent by Postal service. When you spend over NZD $300 we send for free via Postal service if possible. Since Covid, we now send the majority of items via Aramex couriers which cost more but is a better tracked service rather than the untracked Postal service. Please note that when you place your order, you will authorise us to charge your card for delivery costs if they are above the NZ GST on your order so that you have a tracking number and get the goods.
Larger or more expensive that cannot be sent in the normal door-to-door courier will be sent by Oversize International Courier or freight company. We use the NZ tax that you don't have to pay to offset the cost of delivery. If this is insufficient to cover the cost of delivery, we will e-mail you a to see if you want to pay extra and hold your order until we receive your confirmation.
