The X.O booms are made out of the highest aluminium quality available, with both the Red SX-500, and Green 700 produced with identical bending curves. This modern curve with its wide front, allowing a long straight arm provides a lot more stability at all sailing angles.
Amazing stiffness, performance and durability on the main body and tail extension, and at a great price! The monocoque C-Shape prole gives extraordinary stiffness and strength.
The double pin lock system generates optimal load distribution and an extremely stiff connection between the boom body and tail end, even fully extended.
The oversized stiff front end incorporates an anti-friction lever and an integrated mast shim for RDM masts.
The Green SX-700 is a world class C-Shape monocoque aluminium
boom with oval tubes resulting in stiffness comparable to carbon booms.
The Red SX-500 is our C-shape monocoque boom with round tubes,
easy and affordable yet with great performance, being among the
stiffest on the market.
